Yves Winkin

Yves Winkin is Professor emeritus at the University of Liège and honorary professor at the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers. Yves Winkin is a specialist of Erving Goffman’s sociology and a specialist of the “new communication”. He was Director of Scientific and Technical Culture at the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers in Paris, and of the Musée des Arts et Métiers, part of CNAM, from 2015 to 2019. He now undertakes to combine his museum experience with his work in the anthropology of communication. His last book, Réinventer les musées ? was released in early 2020 by Editions MKF.
