Vincent Pidoux, a sociologist, is currently a Postdoctoral fellow at the Free University of Brussels, Center for Interdisciplinary Research in Bioethics (Department of Philosophy and Arts). He is also a Research fellow at the Institute of Social and Preventive Medicine (IUMSP) at the University of Lausanne. His research interests lie in the study of visualisation and quantification techniques of medicine and the life sciences, in historical epistemology of neuroscience and psychiatry, and in the study of the production and (non)use of scientific knowledge in clinical practice.
