Sonia Dheur is a molecular biologist and a researcher at the CNRS-UMR5185 ADESS (Aménagement Développement Environnement Santé Sociétés). After having graduated from the Free University of Brussels, she obtained her PhD at the Muséum National d’Histoire Naturelle in Paris, where she worked on the chemical modification of the DNA molecule and its impact on its cellular fate. She pursued her research at the Institut de Biochimie et Génétique Cellulaires (UMR5095), where her work focused on the expression and faithful transmission of genetic material and epigenetics. More recently, she studied social anthropology and is now concerned with the flow of knowledge in society, and the reflexivity that this flow commonly brings forth.
