Sonia Chardonnel is a CNRS tenured researcher, at PACTE research lab, University of Grenoble Alpes. Her research focuses on the mobility and daily activities of populations in relation to urban and metropolitan dynamics. Inspired by the theoretical framework of time-geography, she studies mobility practices in their spatial and territorial dimensions with regard to the temporal dimension of individual activity agendas. Therefore she pays particular attention to the articulation of space use and time use of metropolitan populations in order to shed light on the evolution of individual and contextual mobility requirements.
