Nathalie Ortar is a senior researcher in anthropology at the LAET. Her research has mainly focused on the relationship between inhabiting and residential and professional mobility. In this context, she explored different forms of residential multi-location. Since 2010, she has also been working on the changes that occur in living patterns in a context of injunction to sustainable development. This has led her to question the place of energy in everyday life. With Simone Abram she has created the Energy Anthropology Network within EASA. Finally, extending her research interests to discard studies, she has developed a research seminar on the issues the secondary use of material culture in collaboration with anthropologist Elisabeth Anstett.
